We are a family-owned center with an owner/operator that is very hands-on. As such, we have decision-making immediacy for you and your family and can freely invest in center resources for your child.

We welcome family involvement in our program and have an open-door policy. Family involvement and community spirit is alive and well at A to Z and we want all families to feel as though we are an extension of their family. Additionally, we mold our center to be an extension of home with warmth and care, without the stale feeling of larger corporate centers.
Unique and Engaging Curriculum
We pair authentic academics with hands-on, science, sensory play, thematic lessons, and creative art projects. We have music every other Tuesday and weekly yoga helps children develop coordination, rhythm, focus, and mindfulness. Activities are designed to nurture curiosity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
Distinctive Outdoor Play Area
Having engaged, active learners is important to us. We make sure that your child receives ample outdoor play time to explore and develop fine and gross motor skills. Our outdoor area is unusually large for the Needham area, and we are proud to have put significant time and resources into creating a fun, safe area.
A Focus on Staff Satisfaction
Being a smaller family-oriented center, we treat our staff like family too. We know that continuity of care for young children is important. Therefore, we go above and beyond to make sure our staff are well rewarded, whether it’s special recognition, periodic bonuses, teacher appreciation days, or winter and summer breaks. Consequently, we have happy staff and below average staff turnover.
Academic Advisor on Staff
Unusually, we have an Academic Advisor on staff. She works closely with our robust team of teachers to ensure we’re providing the best education possible by continuing our education. Her expertise ensures our teachers are continually growing and learning new strategies to support your child’s development.
